103 pages, but most of the page is blank or light blue. What a waste, they chose to page lay out, more then making the names easy to read. Each page has lots of white space and a pretty light blue box. However the names of the anatomical parts are relegated to a small area and a smaller font than is needed. So, sad that they did not value the fine work they did getting these photos. It could have been much more useful. No matter how fancy they pages are designed, the subject is not a coffee table book. Why did they treat it like a book no one would ever bother to read? It could have been great. The art director was not a scientist, and showed no respect for the content. At about a dollar a page I expect you to respect the reader.

This book is so helpful because you are actually able to see the muscles/tendons/bones of a disection almost immediately post mortem. I am studying equine anatomy for a bodyworking class and this has really made clear where each muscle and tendon are located.

Fine detailed, high quality, and excellent illustrated photos. This is what I was looking for long time agoUnderstandable and easy book for all levels.I really appreciate the hard work in this book, since I know exactly how difficult it is to work on fresh specimens and come up withgreat product like this.Thanks Hillary
